Shortcuts will save you time and take you from an average Excel person to an expert.

You learn shortcuts one at a time. You can use our program to learn one shortcut per day.

Try to use your computer without a mouse for a day.

    Global vs. Application vs. Standard

    Some shortcuts are global. This means that no matter what window you're on it will work Alt+Tab for example.

    Other shortcuts are application specific. They only work while your on a certain program.

    Other shortcuts are standard in applications. The program supports the shortcut. Ctrl+F to Find.

    Create a new Ribbon

    You can create your own custom ribbon and place actions you want your user to do.

    Macros

    Macros are a way in Excel to run multiple commands by pressing one button. See Macro lesson for more info

    Autohotkey

    Autohotkey is a need tool that allows you to define your own shortcut keys, for example press Ctrl+W could generate the word "work" wherever the active cursor is. Or Ctrl+J could allow you to pause/play a video and go back to typing window automatically.


    Shorteners

    Shorteners are url's that take you somewhere quickly. Bit.ly was an early one. Twitter has t.co. and I've developed my own custom shortener, http://t2do.com/kp4s for example.
