2020-11-16 How to add an https the steps

These are the steps I took to add Cherper.com to be https:
  • Godaddy
    • My Products
    • SSL Certificates (Standard UCC SSL Up to 5)
    • Manage (it asks for sign-in)
    • Change Subject Alternative Names
    • Delete ones I don't need
    • Add
    • Add Change
    • Submit all changes
    • Get email with instruction on proving email control
    • Unique id is in email
    • Install file on website hosting account
    • directions https://www.godaddy.com/help/verify-domain-ownership-html-or-dns-for-my-ssl-certificate-7452
    • Use notepad to create a file godaddy.htm with code that was sent
    • Copy the unique id to the file
    • save file as "/.well-known/pki-validation/godaddy.html
    • There are some links to verify it
  • check the DNS propagation at https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/successalarm.com
  • Webconfig update
  • Update all code referencing http://success...com to https://
