| Today my oven was stuck open. I tried a number of things but nothing seemed to work. I thought I could maybe reboot it. So I went to the fuse box and turned off the power to the oven. This failed. Then I tried Google search. I found an number of answers. They said something about holding down the light switch. But this didn't make sense. I wasn't sure where the light switch was. And when I thought I found it, there was no way to hold it down. My wife realized that the "light" switch was really the "door open" spring. There is a button that slides out when you open the oven door and gets pressed when you close it. It's at the top upper left of the oven door when it closes. You have to hold this button in and press the "Clean" button and this worked. Over now able to close. Thank you Google once again. |
