| I’ve been around for 57 years and hopefully 57 more. In this time I’ve learned lessons, made mistakes and had successes. This book is an attempt to share these so you don’t make the same mistakes. This book is part biography, part therapy and part wisdom. Its goal is to transfer knowledge to my kids and to the public. It could become an intergenerational tool, helping people learn from other’s experiences.
My son going away to college finally got me to focus on writing this book. If you ever have trouble getting tasks done, a deadline is valuable. The purpose of this book are to help you reach your goals, be a little happier, learn some tricks and avoid mistakes. I can’t guarantee much, but some lessons in here could save your life. I know because they saved mine. This book is broken up into three sections which I find are the main categories for my goals (L$F): 1. Longevity 2. $ecurity 3. Fun I tried to write this book using the FTAD method which stands for “Finish Then Add Details.” Its current incarnation is mostly list based with links to the internet. See the Appendix on page 162 to learn how to view the lists. To call this my wisdom isn’t true as the wisdom is from many sources. I’ve just put them together in the following pages. This wisdom comes from my life experiences, books I’ve read and somewhere from my brain. This book is an early draft and work in progress. It has many typos, duplicate content, poor writing and is in need of an editor. Hopefully you can overlook these shortcomings due to the content. If you have any suggestions please contact me at Alec@WisdomOfADad.com or reply to me on twitter @Alecberg My top 29 concepts are for success which I will discuss in this book are: 1.
