I had a very bad sore throat and saw four doctors who didn’t know what was wrong. I saw a fifth doctor and he looked at my throat and right away said that I had mononucleosis, and he was right.
I once had a white sore on my throat and the same doctor looked at it and asked if I’d been to the dentist recently. I had and it turns out I got a canker sore on my throat from going to the dentist.
My brother had pneumonia misdiagnosed by doctors. He also had a surgery that he might not have needed and could have been treated with antibiotics.
I got bad advice from a number of doctors to get surgery and I opted not to which in hindsight was a good decision
