Diabetes

Diabetes is a disease where your body cannot process the sugar from the foods you eat. This sugar or glucose accumulates in your blood. Eventually you die from some sort of cardiovascular disease. This occurs for two different reasons. The first is your Pancreas no longer produces Insulin which is called type I diabetes. A symptom of this disease is weight loss as your body can’t store the sugar. As second called type II diabetes is where your body produces insulin but the cells cannot process the glucose. A symptom of type II is excess weight. When you go to the doctor they normally measure your blood sugar. You can also measure it yourself with a blood glucose meter. I wish I had done this earlier in my life:
  • Carbs kill
  • Eating too many carbs is bad for you, especially junk food and bread
  • High Carb diet may be responsible for many diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer, erectile dysfunction, skin problems and cataracts.

  • Keep your blood sugar low (83 is the number to strive for)
  • Reduce refined carbs
  • Workout with weights
  • Keep your weight stable
