| “All good things must come to an end.” The two things in life you can’t avoid are death and taxes. My wish at my birthday parties was to live forever. When I was five years old I use to be very afraid of dying in the Vietnam War. One day I realized that before you are born you didn’t exist which is the same as being dead. After you die it will be the same as before you were born which wasn’t that bad. Enjoy life because it’s so short. Use the fact of your death to motivate you to accomplish great things. According to the book, The Singularity is Near, by Ray Kurzweil at some point people may live forever and it may be within your lifetime. Time is precious. It’s your most valuable asset. Once you use time you can’t get it back. Don’t waste time. You have limited time but an infinite number of ways to spend it, so use it wisely. |
