| Price of BTC is at just below $14K. I watched a few "Bitcoin is a bubble" videos. One was by the real "Wolf of Wall Street" guy and someone else. My own instinct is that right away it's a bubble, but somewhere in my subconscious, I think it's not. Just like in 2001 when I bought stock for my wife on the day the Nasdaq hit its high of 5100, it feels the same. Someone said that the problem is that anyone can create a new currency which makes the number of currencies infinite. I've been interested in explaining what Bitcoin is and how it works so a fifth grader could understand. I tried to download a new miner for a coin called Manero. The special property of this coin is anonymity. So I tried to download the mining software and my Windows Defender said that it was a virus. Now, this may be because hackers are downloading the software to peoples computers and making money from using them as mining bots. I found the Manero crypto by researching the Algorithm my NiceHash miner is using which is called CryptoNight somehow got me to minergate. The following is what my anti-virus said ![]() I developed some code to get the current price of bitcoin by entering the characters $BTC. Here is the result: $BTC I had a weird fake virus come up and a weird message from bitcoin client. I'm working on a document to explain what bitcoin is. Looked at post on Watched the |
