| A spreadsheet for me is like a canvas to a painter. At first, it's blank, but add colors, strokes, images and it comes to life. Almost the way God created the heaven and the Earth. The spreadsheet is empty but from it can spring whatever your mind can imagine. I've been using Excel for a long time. It's taken many years to develop these skills. My goal is to show you the infinite uses Excel can give you. It is also to show you how to build spreadsheets and learn the skills needed in the shortest amount of time. I've included lessons for all levels of knowledge. If you're familiar with the concept just move on to the next lesson. My other goal is to teach you how to learn. So whatever skill you need you'll be able to acquire. What is Excel? Excel is a program developed by Microsoft Corporation. It is in the spreadsheet class of software. It appears as graph paper but within it is a powerful and flexible tool that can do just about anything you want software to do. The only thing you need is training and time. I can only give you the training but you will have to put in the time. Excel is good with numbers and calculating stuff. From budgets, financial statements, to tracking anything that needs tracking. From to-do lists, to project management, games and a learning tool. |
