What is blood pressure?

The pressure of your blood on the walls of your arteries

Thick blood causes higher blood pressure.

Systolic pressure is when heart beats (top number)
Diastolic pressure is when heart rests (bottom number)

Should be less than 120/80 mine was 135/84

If blood pressure above 140 or over 90 = High Blood Pressure (HBP)

HBP will damage the walls of your arteries. Can weaken wall and form an aneurysm.

Damage to your arteries can cause heart to beat harder

Can lead to or increase risk for:
