| A memory leak is a computer term where a program doesn't manage memory well and keeps using more and more until there isn't enough for other software to use. To show this you can use the Ctrl+Shift+Esc key combination to bring up Taskmgr (Task Manager). You could also press Windows+R and then type in "task mgr" without the quotes. Show details if you can't see the Memory usage and sort descending by clicking the Memory header and you will see which programs are using the most memory. You can press the End task button to stop the program. You could lose data by this action so be careful. ![]() |
