How to test your blood sugar? (g)

Testing your blood sugar requires a testing meter and test strips.

I use the following steps assuming your device is set up

Load a new lancet into the lancing device

Load a new test strip to the meeter

Wash my hands

Randomly pick a finger to prick (I use the minute of a clock)

Lock spring on lancing device

Place lancing device against finger

Press button

Wipe up blood

Squeeze to get out blood

Get blood with blood strip and device

Record reading

if reading seems wrong, take another one
