Make good changes

You see it happen often where a team makes a poor change and it costs them a goal. The key is to know who you're going on for. This is basic communication skills. First sit next to your line mates. Discuss who each of you are taking off. "I have #17 on left wing"...

Come off if your tired. When you get on the ice look at the clock and don't stay on the ice for more than a minute.

Have a time keeper on your bench that calls when the lines change.
